Watch Stand Project

Over the last decade I have gone through a few phases on watches. My first was a Seiko which I love, but eventually shifted into a diving watch (no, I don’t dive) as my tastes have changed. I currently use an Apple Watch as it is a fabulous health device and I will use it to supplement my reduced screen time - meaning I don’t have to always have my phone around.

What I miss though is at least seeing my watches, which I still love. I have some new shelving in my office and decided it would be a good idea to display them.

Amazon Option

I found a nice two watch stand on Amazon, but decided I don’t need to be spending money. I sketched out an idea of how I could build it with some scrap oak wood I have from a previous project.

The Build

I cut up the pieces and was able to glue and screw it together very quickly.

Finished Watch Stand

I am pleased with the final result and my watches are displayed, but unwound.
