I have been slow to test out the various AI tools, but with the reviews of Claude, I decided it was time to test the waters. On my personal computer and phone I downloaded the Claude app, created an account, and signed up for a $20 per month subscription.
The past month I have accomplished the following with this new tool:
- Worked through an idea where it came up with a good grouping and framework
- Got a marginal start on a blank React Native iPhone application
- Planned a summer trip to the UK
- Was given very confident advice on smoking pork
Overall it’s been a neat novelty, but in cases of having it do things for me, I’ve felt the results have required a lot of wrangling and I didn’t come out of it with having learned much.
I’ll give it another month.
