After moving the garden from one 4x8 plot into three 4x8 plots in the spring of 2022, I worked on the garden fencing in 2023 and then the greenhouse in 2025. For this year, I ambitiously wanted to double the three plots to six plots. We had such great yield last year and are getting much better at making the most of our produce - besides, building is fun for me and having a garden is fun for my wife.
Total cost of the project was $435:
- 10 bags of soil for each garden = $240
- Nine 12" x 8’ lumber = $195
